ART TAICHUNG 2022 台中藝術博覽會

大河美術將於2022台中藝術博覽會帶來十位藝術家的作品，包含六位首次在台參展的海外藝術家：探究當代語境中內在與對佛道教哲學思考及修行的 Angie PAI、融合包浩斯及東方繪畫視覺語言符號的 Lili LEE、專注於自我經歷與集體歷史交集的 Timothy BAIR、實驗複合媒材並拆解重組流行文化符號的 Tessar LO、趣味與諷刺並存的脫北藝術家 Sun Mu 與善於審視東西方文化中隱蔽議題的 Yi-Shuan LEE。四位台灣藝術家，包含帶來 SUNSET 系列作品的塗鴉藝術家 REACH 及帶來咬男孩系列作品的塗鴉藝術家 SONG，與打破傳統雕塑受限於單一時空面向的雕塑家王尋，以及名家李真，也將於藝博會一同展出。

本次期望展現當代藝術「關注當下」，反映自我同時亦反映所身處時代的本質，讓觀者對於畫廊未來的走向更加期待。

At the 2022 Art Taichung, RIVER ART GALLERY is going to showcase artworks by ten artists, including six overseas artists: Angie PAI, who explores the reflection and practice of Buddhist and Taoist philosophy in a contemporary context; LiLi LEE, whose works present the Bauhaus and the Eastern painting styles; Timothy BAIR, whose practice focuses on the intersection of autobiography and collective history; Tessar LO, who is skill in employing various materials and media to reassemble new and old iconography of popular culture; Sun Mu, a North Korean defector artist, whose work is full of humor and irony; Yi-Shuan LEE, who is expert in examining obscured stories that are yet to be told, with an integration of the Eastern perspective of thoughts. Four Taiwanese artists, including graffiti artist REACH, who will bring us his SUNSET series; graffiti artist SONG, who will present The Bitten Boy series; and Xun WANG, a sculptor who breaks free of the single space and time limitation of traditional sculpture, as well as the famous artist Chen LI, will also be presented in the art fair.

By showing the works from these artists, RIVER ART GALLERY hopes to present the essence of contemporary art − focusing on present time, mirroring oneself, and reflecting the latest era, and let the viewers expect more about the future development of our gallery.
